What We Believe
We are an independent, non-denominational, Restoration Movement Church.
We are not the only Christians, but Christians only.
Our Church is not merely the building, it is the people!
The following is intended to be a brief overview of the teachings of this church and is by no means exhaustive.
The LORD’S SUPPER is offered each time we meet. All believer’s are invited to take part in this act of remembrance of Christ and his sacrifice.
OFFERING is taken each week in accordance with scripture. If you are a visitor, please do not feel obligated to give, but share as God inspires.
The INVITATION in each service gives an opportunity to act on the message that has been presented, whether it be in the form of a decision for baptism into Christ, rededication, or in prayer.
GOD is the only eternal, unchanging, all-knowing, ever-present, all-powerful Creator of the universe. God is love and proves that in all he does. There is only one God
JESUS is fully divine, and yet fully man; born of a virgin, lived without sin, and spoke the very words of God. Jesus, the Son of God, came to Earth, was crucified to save us from sin, then resurrected and ascended to heaven.
The HOLY SPIRIT guides, speaks, teaches, intercedes, and gives strength and encouragement. The Spirit gives spiritual gifts, convicts of sin and invites to salvation.
The BIBLE is the inerrant, authoritative, inspired, living Word of God. It is the way God relates the Gospel to us and leads us to salvation.
SALVATION: All have sinned, and the consequence of sin is hell, but Jesus Christ sacrificed himself, bearing our sins so we can experience salvation. Salvation comes by grace, through faith, in baptism, for good works.
MAN was created in the image of God and made to give glory to God. All humans are equal in the eyes of God.
END TIMES: Jesus will return and the faithful will receive eternal glory. His return will be visible and unexpected. The earth will be destroyed and a new earth will take its place. In the end there will be a time of judgment and a time of reward.
